At Augsburg’s central interchange point for public transit, which has recently been transformed into a pedestrian-only square, an old takeaway restaurant has become the fifth location of the Pow Wow café/coffee chain.
Due to the location of the café right next to one of the biggest central intersections of public transportation in Augsburg, a special attention was giving the “to-go” customers. Accordingly we designed a large central counter – as the heart of the location – to quickly handle the orders.
The use of different kinds of seating, vintage elements, genuine materials and surfaces creates an urban, unpretentious and comfortable atmosphere.
