SUPERBUDE ST. PAULI

The easy use of materials and the shared rooms are a typical feature of hostels, but the service and the technical equipment are hotel standard. For that reason the “Superbude” St. Pauli – now the second of its kind – caters to an extended target group.
As a tribute to the port Hamburg, the interior is filled with many abstracted aspects and details. For example, a rope runs like a thread through the whole building – sometimes on yellow concrete formwork panels, sometimes on the carpet. Under the requirement of using cost-efficient equipment and the desire for originality, the repurposing of typical local objects and materials became the creative principle.
